Hiroo Kanamaru

Hiroo Kanamaru is a highly experienced professional currently serving as the Chief Engineer at Mitsubishi Electric Corporation since April 1987. Additionally, Hiroo holds leadership roles in various organizations such as President of the Japan section at the International Society of Automation (ISA) and a Functional Safety Expert at TÜV Rheinland Group. With a Master of Engineering degree in Nuclear Engineering from Osaka University, Hiroo specializes in Standards Strategy Planning focusing on safety and cybersecurity of intelligent systems. Hiroo also serves as an expert in TC65 and TC44 at the IEC.
