Raimon Mata has held various roles in the pharmaceutical industry since 2006. In 2006, they were a Pharmacovigilance Trainee at Hôpital Lapeyronie, CHU de Montpellier. In 2007, they were a Pharmacist at Abad Merín Pharmacy. From 2010 to 2017, they were a Project Launch Management Responsible and Regulatory Affairs Trainee at Mylan Pharmaceuticals S.L. & BGP Products Operations S.L. During this time, they drove the introduction of all new products into the Spanish market, scheduled and monitored activities, and created and set up internal processes. From 2017 to 2019, they were a Senior Project Manager in Life Cycle Management at Galenicum Health, where they led the coordination of Tech Transfers, Scale-up, Process Validation and AMT of the most relevant products of the company. Raimon was also involved in the investigation process, determining the cause of the deviations and analyzing the impact of the implemented changes. Since 2019, Raimon Mata has been a Chemistry and Math Teacher at Escola Proa. Currently, they are a CMC Project Manager at ISA Pharmaceuticals.

Raimon Mata has a long and varied academic history. Raimon earned a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) from the University of Valencia between 2000 and 2007. Raimon then completed a Master's Degree in Research, Development and Quality Control of Drugs at the Universitat de Barcelona in 2009. In 2010, they earned a Master's Degree in Pharmaceutical Industry from CESIF. Between 2015 and 2016, they completed a Training Course in PMP at EIGP, Escuela Internacional de Gestión de Proyectos. Raimon then earned a Program in Management and Project Management from the same school in 2016 and 2017. Most recently, they earned a Master's degree in Education from UNIR - La Universidad en Internet in 2018 and 2019.
