Roksana Bereckei

Roksana Bereckei has extensive work experience in the field of biotechnology and scientific research. Roksana began their career as an IAESTE Internship Trainee at Manipal Institute of Technology in 2008. Roksana then went on to complete their Master's thesis project at Universitá degli Studi di Torino in 2009. After this, Roksana worked as a Master Engineer in Biotechnology at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology from 2004 to 2009.

In 2009, they joined Veterinary Research Institute as a Scientific Researcher, where they focused on developing and optimizing enzyme linked immunosorbent assays for detecting small molecules, as well as producing monoclonal antibodies through mice immunization and hybridoma technology.

From 2010 to 2017, Roksana pursued their Ph.D. at SLU - Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, specializing in the development and optimization of enzyme linked immunosorbent assays for detecting alkylresorcinol metabolites. Roksana also conducted research on the production of monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies against haptens.

After their Ph.D., Roksana joined Genovis as a Production Engineer/Researcher from 2019 to 2021. Here, they participated in research and development projects to expand the SmartEnzymes portfolio and was responsible for developing and standardizing production processes.

Roksana then worked at Amniotics AB as a QC Scientist for ATMP and stem cells from 2021 to 2023. Roksana'sresponsibilities included quality control, improving operations and processes, promoting a culture of quality and compliance, and project management.

Currently, Roksana is employed at Alligator Bioscience AB as a CMC Project Manager, starting in 2023.

Roksana Bereckei holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Molecular Sciences from SLU - Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, which they obtained from 2010 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Biotechnology from Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, from 2004 to 2009.

In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained various certifications over the years. In September 2022, they completed the "OOS Test Results and Completing Robust Investigations" certification from Compliance Trainings. In October 2021, they obtained the "GMP Compliance for Quality Control and Laboratory Operation" certification from Key2Compliance®. Furthermore, in December 2013, they underwent the "Q Exactive Operation training course" provided by the European Training Institute.
