Tomás Leão Ursi

Tomás Leão Ursi has a diverse work experience background. In 2013, they served as the Vice President of CAM Centro Acadêmico Mecânica Mecatrônica da USP. From 2017 to 2019, they worked at Patria Investimentos as a Private Equity Analyst, where they analyzed portfolio M&A opportunities, supported the sell-side M&A of portfolio companies, and played a role in strategic projects such as the merger of two portfolio companies in the food and beverages sector. Tomás was also involved in the sell-side process of Smartfit in a significant transaction involving North American pension funds and Asian SWFs, as well as in raising a USD 2.7B PE fund, the largest in Latin America at the time. From 2019 to 2022, they joined Loft as a New Business Developer, where they focused on M&A and played a role in expanding the company's business. In 2022, they assumed the position of Head of Business Development and M&A at the company Isaac.

Tomás Leão Ursi pursued their education in the field of Mechanical Engineering. From 2012 to 2017, they attended Escola Politécnica da USP, where they completed their Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Additionally, they had the opportunity to enhance their knowledge by studying abroad at Bergische Universität Wuppertal from 2015 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree with a specialization in Mechanical Engineering.
