Sunshine Valdes, PMP® has worked in various roles since 2000. In 2000, they were a Consultant for Transportation Engineering, Inc., where they were a staff augmentation for the Department of Transportation, downloading and analyzing statistical data from Florida's traffic monitoring sites, creating adhoc reporting on Oracle database, and developing applications for Windows CE handheld devices. From 2001-2003, they were an OPS Systems Project Analyst/Software Engineer for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and Computer Aid, Inc. In 2004, they were a Systems Project Consultant for the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice, where they designed, developed, implemented, and maintained VB.NET case management systems and maintained VB6 and Active X legacy systems. From 2006-2007, they were a Computer Programmer/Analyst for the Florida Guardian ad Litem, managing select projects from initiating through closing project management phases and designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining VB.NET and C#. In 2007, they were a Programmer Analyst II for Citizens Property Insurance Corporation, developing and maintaining VB.NET (1.1 and 2.0). From 2008-2009, they were a .NET Consultant for DynTek, providing staff augmentation for the Department of Education - Division of Blind Services and designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining C# and VB.NET applications. From 2011-2012, they were a Senior Application Programmer for FSU Foundation, designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining C# and VB.NET applications using Microsoft Visual Studio, Visual SourceSafe, 3rd party APIs, master pages, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and IIS 6.0-7.0. From 2019 to present, they have been a Development/Implementation Manager and Project Manager and a Product Owner and Project Manager for ISF, Inc.

Sunshine Valdes, PMP® received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Management Information Systems from Florida State University - College of Business between 1995 and 1999. In 2014, they obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification from the Project Management Institute.
