Ateeq Rehman

Ateeq Rehman has extensive experience in the humanitarian sector, currently serving as the Interim Head of Region-Asia at Islamic Relief Worldwide since February 2016. Prior to this, Ateeq was the Country Director at Islamic Relief Pakistan, managing overall operations and program development from August 2014 to September 2015. Between January 2012 and July 2014, Ateeq functioned as the Regional Desk Coordinator for Islamic Relief Worldwide, supporting operations across multiple countries in Asia. Ateeq's career began as a Regional Programme Officer/Coordinator for Asia at IRW from October 2005 to December 2009. Ateeq holds an M.Sc (ECON) in Social Development Planning and Management from the Centre of Development Studies at the University of Wales Swansea and two other degrees in Food Science and Technology and Agriculture.
