Carolina Torres Trueba

Carolina Torres Trueba possesses extensive legal and administrative expertise in the conservation field, currently serving as the International Legal and Administrative Manager and Galapagos Legal and Administrative Specialist at Island Conservation since July 2015. Previously, Carolina worked as an Attorney at Law for Galapagos National Park and as an In-house Legal Advisor at Yanbal. Carolina began their legal career at Albán Bedón Macías y Asociados and served as a Paralegal at Bedón Solórzano Estudio Jurídico. Educational qualifications include a degree in Law from Universidad Hemisferios, a Fellowship in Natural Resources/Conservation from Kinship Conservation Fellows, and ongoing Master's programs in NGO management and international cooperation at ESNECA Business School, along with studies in Environmental Negotiation at San Francisco State University.
