Naomi Ahuna

Naomi Ahuna, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, is the Vice President of Human Resources at Island Energy Services. Ahuna brings more than three decades of experience in the public transportation, consulting engineering, astronomy, and telecommunications industries.

Raised in Kahaluʻu Oahu, Ahuna is a second-generation energy industry employee and thanks her dad Walter Kahumoku Jr., for 35 years of service as a Fuel Delivery Driver. Ahuna is a graduate of the Kamehameha Schools and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa.

She has served as a volunteer for non-profit organizations in Washington State, was Board Secretary for the Hawaiʻi Preparatory Academy PTA, and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), Hawaiʻi Chapter, as its State Chapter President.
