Jason Farrugia

Jason Farrugia, MBA, RIS, currently serves as Community Branch Manager at Island Savings, a division of First West Credit Union, since July 2019, leading a team of Investment Professionals to provide comprehensive financial services in the Cowichan Valley, BC. Previously, Jason held the position of General Manager-Banking Centre Leader at CIBC, overseeing a Banking Centre in Maple Ridge, BC, and demonstrating expertise in wealth and retail branch management over a decade-long career with the bank. Early experience includes significant roles at TD Canada Trust, where Jason excelled in branch management and district operations for over twenty years, as well as in business development and securities trading with CT Securities. Jason holds a Master of Business Administration in Business and Strategy from Athabasca University.
