Omri Cohen has worked in the software engineering field since 2000. Omri began their career at Mamram as an Oracle Software Engineer, where they developed a logistic prediction module for war time and was awarded a decoration for excellence. In 2003, they were promoted to Software Team Lead at IDF - Mamram, where they led a team of 10 developers and 2 systems analysts and was awarded an officer's excellent award for exemplary leadership. In 2006, they moved to Orange as an Oracle Software Engineer, where they led the Oracle 8i migration for the billing division and developed a main reporting platform. In 2008, they joined Modelity Technologies as a Java Software Engineer, where they designed a financial consulting system for the two largest banks in Israel and streamlined system performance and user experience issues. In 2009, they became a Software Development Manager at SparkyBee. From 2011 to 2016, they worked at Schneider Electric as a .Net & Windows Azure Team Lead and Engineer, where they developed and deployed an OData interface for the Energy Operation platform services and developed a Server-side using C#, WCF and SQL Server. In 2016, they joined Axonize as Co-Founder & CTO. Currently, they are a Software Group Lead and Cloud Architect at Island.

Omri Cohen obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from The Academic College of Tel-Aviv, Yaffo between 2005 and 2008. In March 2014, they were certified as a ScrumMaster by the Scrum Alliance.
