Will Snellings has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Will started their career in 1986 in the United States Marine Corps, where they served as a Master Sergeant until their retirement in 2012. During their time in the Marine Corps, they gained experience in special operations.

After leaving the military, Will Snellings worked at BP as a Trainer of Security Operations, where they trained security personnel and employees on crisis action planning and emergency evacuations.

Will then worked at multiple companies in the safety and health field. At Check-6, they served as HSSEL Director, in charge of HSE programs and responsibilities within the General Industry and Oil & Gas Industry. At ISN, they held the role of Veriforce & ISNetworld Account Holder, maintaining compliance for over 30 clients globally. At Petroleum Education, they worked as a Safety Instructor, and at DISA Global Solutions, they served as a DISA Representative, controlling pre-employment and random drug/alcohol testing.

Currently, Will Snellings is employed at Check-6 as the HSSEL Director, overseeing HSE programs. Will began this role in 2022.

Will Snellings CSP, CSD has a diverse education history. Will attended Albany State University from 1980 to 1985 but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study. In 2004, they enrolled at Miramar College and completed their education in 2006, earning a degree in Business Management.

In addition to their formal education, Will Snellings has obtained several certifications in various safety and management specialties. In 2017, they obtained certifications in DOT HAZMAT Specialist (DHS), HAZMAT Emergency Response Specialist (HCS), HAZMAT Supervisor Specialist (HSS), Licensed Safety Professional (LSP), Certified Safety Director (CSD), Electrical Safety Specialist, and Job Hazard Analysis from NASPweb. These certifications demonstrate their expertise in safety and hazardous materials management.

Furthermore, in 2015, Will obtained certification as a Certified Safety Manager / Trainer (CSM) from NASPweb, as well as becoming a Basic Pipeline Instructor from PEC Safety. Will also obtained a certification as a Respiratory Mask-Fit Instructor from 24Hr Safety in 2014. Previously, in 2007, they completed a certification in Investigative Security Management from the Naval Criminal Investigative Service.
