Dr Thomas THEVENET has a diverse work experience in various roles within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and clinical development fields. Dr Thomas has served as the Vice President Head of Development at ITM Isotope Technologies Munich SE since 2020, leading the development efforts. Prior to that, they were self-employed as the Company Owner and Principal Consultant of a consultancy firm, where they provided advice and services to biotechs, medtechs, and CROs for improving and expediting the clinical development and registration of medicines. Dr Thomas also focused on supporting radiopharmaceutical companies developing theragnostic pairs in oncology settings.

Dr. THEVENET also worked as the Head of Clinical Development at In3Bio from 2018 to 2021, overseeing the clinical development activities. Dr Thomas served as the Director of Clinical Development and Biometrics at Advanced Accelerator Applications from 2014 to 2018, reporting directly to the Global Head of R&D and being responsible for medical and scientific coordination, quality management, and regulatory compliance. Prior to that, they were the Head of Clinical Affairs and Associate Regulatory Officer at Laboratoires Vivacy France, where they managed global clinical affairs for medical device and biotechnology-related health products.

Dr Thomas'searlier experiences include working as a Health Claim Project Leader at Danone Nutricia Research, handling international biomedical research programs and clinical studies in the field of immunology and infectious diseases. Dr Thomas also served as the Global Medical Affairs Clinical Trial Manager at Sanofi Pasteur, managing international multicenter clinical trials and epidemiological studies.

Additionally, Dr. THEVENET worked as a Research Scientist at Inserm, focusing on immunobiology of viral infections and managing a clinical trial on vaccine immunotherapy. Dr Thomas started their career as a Clinical Pharmacist at Hospices Civils de Lyon, where they performed various activities related to intravenous antibiotic manufacturing, quality management, hygiene, and epidemiology. Dr Thomas also worked as a Clinical Trial Pharmacist at ART/Eurofins Optimed Lyon.

Throughout their career, Dr. THEVENET has gained expertise in clinical development, regulatory compliance, quality management, and medical affairs within the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.

Dr. Thomas THEVENET completed an Advanced degree in Industrial and Biomedical Pharmacy with a focus on Clinical Development from Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1. Dr Thomas also holds a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from the same university. In addition, they obtained a University Degree in Infectious diseases, anti-infectious therapy, and vaccine science from Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 as well.
