Erez Melamed

Erez Melamed has extensive work experience in the aerospace and defense industry. Erez has worked for IAI - Israel Aerospace Industries since 2009, holding various positions such as Head of System Engineering and Projects Management Department, Head of Projects and Business Management Department, Senior Program Manager, and Projects Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for development, engineering, program management, customer support, business propositions, cost management, and team management.

Prior to their work at IAI, Melamed worked for the Israel Ministry of Defense (IMOD) - DDR&D from 2002 to 2009 as the Head of Branch. In this position, they were responsible for initiating future concepts, directing applied research, and monitoring the development of weapon and ammunition systems.

Before that, they worked for IDF - Tech & Logs Command - Technological Brigade from 1999 to 2002 as the Head of Branch, overseeing engineering projects, stocks level and purchasing, and field support.

Melamed also served in the IDF - Ordnance Corpus from 1996 to 1999 as the Head of Section, responsible for engineering projects, rehab and upgrade efforts, and fielding new types of warfare equipment.

Additionally, they worked for IDF - T&E Unit from 1992 to 1994 as the Head of Section, leading test and evaluation efforts for various weapon and ammunition items.

Throughout their career, Melamed has gained extensive experience in system engineering, project management, research and development, and team leadership.

Erez Melamed has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, which they obtained from 1981 to 1986. Erez also holds a Master's degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, which they completed from 1994 to 1996. Additionally, they completed a Command and Control course at the IDF command and control school in 1999. Erez Melamed also has a Master's degree in Test & Evaluation Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology from 1994 to 1996.
