Tony Gichuhi

Tony Gichuhi Ph.D. is an accomplished professional in the field of materials science and coatings, currently serving as the Director of Paints & Coatings R&D at ICL Phosphate Specialty since November 2013. Prior to this role, Tony Gichuhi held the position of Technical Service and R&D Director at HALOX for 12 years, overseeing all facets of new product development. Earlier experience includes working as a Sr. Research Chemist at Argonide Corporation, where significant research on electroplating and surface finishing took place, alongside holding a Graduate Research Associate position at Auburn University, focusing on electro-synthesized thin film semiconductors. Tony Gichuhi possesses extensive expertise in various instrumental techniques and electrochemical methods, coupled with a strong educational background, culminating in a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Auburn University.
