Noa Matarasso

Noa Matarasso is an accomplished professional in the fields of academia, biotechnology, and agricultural research, currently serving as Senior Director of Academia at the Israel Innovation Authority since May 2019. Prior to this role, Noa held the position of Manager of Academic Programs at the same authority and has extensive experience at Evogene, where roles included Biotech Trait Manager and Discovery Manager. Noa’s work has centered on enhancing crop yield and resistance traits, with responsibilities ranging from managing research teams to leading scientific initiatives in plant genetics. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Molecular Biology from Tel Aviv University, along with advanced degrees in Plant Sciences and Life Science.
