Raz Walker has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications field. Raz started their career as a System Engineer at Cellcom in 1996, where they worked on the design, development, and maintenance of SS#7 signaling based telephone networks. Raz then moved on to Partner Israel in 2002, where they continued their work as a Senior System Engineer, focusing on the design, development, and maintenance of SS#7 signaling based mobile telephone networks. In 2006, Raz joined Pelephone as a Senior System Engineer, specializing in the design and development of telecommunications systems, specifically mobile telephone networks. Their responsibilities included implementing new technologies and maintaining existing systems. Currently, Raz is serving as the Head of Spectrum Management and Engineering Division at the Ministry of Communications. In this role, they analyze, plans, and manages the use of radio frequency spectrum for wireless communication devices, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and optimizing spectrum usage.
Raz Walker completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tel Aviv University from 1996 to 2000. Raz further pursued their education at The University of Manchester, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in the year 2002.
