Shira Efron

Shira Efron is an accomplished academic and policy expert, currently serving as a Professor at Reichman University and Pardee RAND Graduate School. Efron holds the position of Director of Research at the Israel Policy Forum and acts as a Special Advisor on Climate Change for the Israeli Ministry of Defense. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Visiting Fellow at the Institute for National Security Studies (INSS) and Policy Researcher at RAND Corporation, where Efron contributed to significant projects related to defense policy and socio-economic planning in Israel and the Middle East. Efron's academic credentials include a PhD and an M.Phil. in Public Policy Analysis from Pardee RAND Graduate School, alongside advanced degrees in International Business and International Affairs from New York University and a BSc in Biology with a minor in Computer Science from Tel Aviv University.
