Salman Habaqa

Salman Habaqa is a Research Scientist in Computer Vision & Audio at the Israel Defense Forces, focusing on foundational models and advanced algorithms. Prior to this role, Salman served as a Software Development Team Lead at Cyber Education Center, mentoring high school students on projects related to Cybersecurity, Machine Learning, and Networking. Additionally, Salman taught C Programming to 10th-grade students, nurturing their programming skills. As Head of the Simulation Team for Ben Gurion University's Formula Student Racing Team, Salman utilized cutting-edge technology to develop an autonomous racing vehicle, working with Unreal Engine and reinforcement learning. Salman also gained experience as a Data Engineer at Nestlé. Currently pursuing a Master of Science in Software Engineering at Braude Academic College, Salman holds a Bachelor of Technology in Software and Information Systems Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
