Steven Friedman

Steven Friedman is currently serving as the General Counsel at ISS | Institutional Shareholder Services. With a background in law from The George Washington University Law School, Steven has extensive experience in overseeing legal matters, corporate contracting, intellectual property, human resources, litigation, and regulatory compliance. Prior to their current role, Steven has held similar positions at The Norton Law Firm, PLLC, and EDGAR Online, Inc. Steven played a key role in managing ISS through rapid growth and its sale to RiskMetrics Group (RMG) and later to MSCI, Inc. In addition, Steven has experience working as an Associate at DLA Piper.
