Joe Butterfield

Joe Butterfield is an experienced professional in project and program management, currently serving as the Global Head of PMO - Capital Projects at ISS A/S since May 2025. Previously, Joe managed PMO functions for Thames Water and Heathrow, focusing on benefits management frameworks and portfolio management. Joe's expertise includes delivering digital products in response to Covid-19 at the Money and Pensions Service and overseeing capital projects at Heathrow, where significant improvements in air traffic management were achieved. With a strong foundation in project governance developed across various organizations, including RSSB and Lloyds Banking Group, Joe has consistently demonstrated leadership in ensuring robust project controls and successful delivery. Joe holds a BA (Hons) in Humanities from the University of Hertfordshire.
