Feng Yan

Associate Director of Analytical and Process Development at Istari Oncology

Feng Yan has worked in a variety of roles over the past 18 years. In 2003, they began as a Graduate Student at Case Western Reserve University. Feng then moved to Duke University in 2008, where they served as a Postdoctoral Associate. In 2010, they became a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In 2015, they began working at GSK Vaccines as a Scientist of Analytical Development, where they developed analytical methods to support protein and mRNA vaccine development. In 2019, they moved to CRISPR Therapeutics as a Scientist II and Manager of Tech Ops. Finally, in 2020, they began working at Istari Oncology as an Associate Director of Analytical and Process Development, and they are currently in the same role at IMMORNA.

Feng Yan completed a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Nankai University from 1993 to 1997. Feng then went on to obtain a Master of Science in Chemistry from Peking University from 1997 to 2000. Following this, they completed a Master of Science in Chemistry from Case Western Reserve University from 2000 to 2003. Finally, they obtained a PhD in Biochemistry from Case Western Reserve University from 2003 to 2008.
