Kacy Smith

Kacy Smith has over 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Compliance roles. In 2020, they began working as the Director of Quality Assurance at Istari Oncology, where they established and led the Quality and Compliance infrastructure, developed and implemented organizational systems and electronic QMS systems, processes, and documentation, and managed other key quality and compliance processes to achieve strategic company objectives for CMC/Clinical Ops. Prior to this role, they held the role of Manufacturing Quality Manager SVP and LVS and Aseptic Services Manager at Pfizer from 2014-2020. From 2011-2014, they were a Production Services Specialist, Aseptic Compliance Supervisor, and Aseptic Core Monitor at Hospira, where they performed aseptic gowning and aseptic behavior audits, trained aseptic personnel on proper aseptic gowning procedures, and performed data review of batch records and cleaning documents. From 2009-2011, they were an Environmental Lab Analyst at DSM.
