Amber Lempke

Chief, Corporate Development at ITA International

Amber Lempke has an extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Amber began their career in 2003 as a US Naval Supply Corps Officer, managing a significant budget and overseeing financial reviews. Amber then moved on to become the Director of Civilian Human Resources at Naval Reactors, where they directed human capital programs for a national security organization. In 2011, they joined Naval Reactors again as the Director of Recruitment & Outreach, spearheading recruitment efforts and acting as a liaison with the nuclear industry.

Amber continued to progress in their career, becoming the Director of Leadership & Career Management at the National Nuclear Security Administration in 2012. In this role, they developed talent, leadership, and career development policies and programs. Following that, they served as the Associate Chief Component Human Capital Officer at FEMA, where they provided leadership and management for human capital planning and HR programs.

Amber worked at the NOAA as the Deputy Director of the Workforce Management Office from 2015 to 2017. Following that, they became the Chief Human Resources Officer at the U.S. Census Bureau from 2017 to 2019. Currently, Amber is employed at ITA International as the Chief, Corporate Development, where they are responsible for managing the company's growth, financial standing, and strategic pipeline. Throughout their career, Amber has consistently demonstrated strong leadership skills and the ability to drive organizational success.

Amber Lempke has a diverse education history. In 1998-2002, they obtained their B.A. in Economics & International Studies from Rhodes College. Amber then pursued their M.A. in Legislative Affairs from The George Washington University in 2004-2006. Additionally, in 2011-2014, they earned their Masters of Science in Human Resource Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus. In 2010, they obtained a Professional, Human Resources certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute.
