Alessandro Serto

Project Leader at Italdesign

Alessandro Serto began their work experience in 2005 with Saturno Casa Srl, where they conducted research and design for various products using paper folding technology. Alessandro then worked at Politecnico di Torino-Ecodesign as an Ecodesigner in 2006. In 2006, they also joined Falegnameria Chiodo Arredamenti, where they worked on projects such as research on the co-productable furniture and engineering and production-installation assistance for furniture at "Prodit Engineering S.p.a." The following year, Serto worked on a research project at Falegnameria Chiodo Arredamenti to study the partial standardization of production in the wood furniture sector. In 2007, they joined Italdesign Giugiaro and held various roles, including Technical Project Director Assistant and Project Leader. In their roles, they were responsible for project management activities, procurement and logistics, and monitoring of management activities.

Alessandro Serto began their education at Liceo Gobetti Torino, where they attended from 1996 to 2001, focusing on a liceo scientifico curriculum. Alessandro then enrolled at Politecnico di Torino, studying design from 2001 to 2005, specializing in architecture-design. Alessandro continued their education at Politecnico di Torino, pursuing a degree in eco-compatible product design from 2001 to 2007. Additionally, they obtained a degree in eco-design with a concentration in architecture-design from the same institution during the academic year 2006-2007.
