Passive Safety Product Developer at Italdesign

Giuseppe D'Andrea has a diverse work experience in the automotive sector. Giuseppe began their career as a Testing Engineer at Key Safety Systems in 2015, focusing on the development and validation of passive safety products such as airbags. Giuseppe then joined Joyson Safety Systems in 2017 as a Project Engineer, where they managed the design, development, and validation of passive safety products for major car-makers, serving as the reference interface for various departments and overseeing internal activities. In 2022, Giuseppe joined Italdesign as a Passive Safety Product Developer. Additionally, they gained research experience at the Polytechnic of Turin, focusing on the dynamic model of a poly-generation system based on a biogas-fed solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) plant.

Giuseppe D'Andrea began their education at ITIS - Istituto Istruzione Superiore Ten. Remo Righetti from 2003 to 2008, where they received their Diploma of post-secondary level in Electrotechnical technician.

Giuseppe then went on to pursue their Bachelor's degree in Energy Engineering at Politecnico di Torino from 2008 to 2012.

Giuseppe continued their education at Politecnico di Torino, obtaining a Master's degree in Energy and Nuclear Engineering from 2012 to 2015.

In addition to their formal education, they also earned the IELTS certification from Cambridge English Language Assessment in October 2011.
