Mudassar Ahmed

Mudassar Ahmed's work experience includes various roles in electrical and electronics engineering. Mudassar began their career as an Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer at Siemens, where they supervised cable laying, installed instruments, and conducted pre and post-commissioning tasks. Mudassar then worked as an Electrical & Instrument (E & I) Engineer at HALAL AL-ARABIA CONT. EST, where they followed inspection procedures, collaborated on testing and calibration, and conducted inspections for instrument installation. Mudassar also served as an Assistant Resident Engineer at Varow International, performing technical inspections and supervising electrical panel installation. Mudassar later joined ZTE Corporation as a Technical Support Engineer, where they reviewed engineering designs, performed troubleshooting and maintenance, and prepared technical documents. Mudassar also gained experience as a Technical Design & Technical Support Intern at Be Labs s.r.l., working on software and hardware projects and providing technical training to clients. Currently, they are working as an Infotainment System Engineer at Italdesign and FD Group.

Mudassar Ahmed has a diverse education history in the field of engineering. Starting in 2003, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Engineering from Dawood University of Engineering and Technology in Karachi, Pakistan. Mudassar then pursued a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering specializing in Power Conversion & Renewable Energy, Green Energy from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, completing it in 2017.

Continuing their education, from 2019 to 2022, Mudassar studied at Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, where they obtained a Master's degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering with a focus on Big Data & IoT.

In January 2023, they obtained the "Industrial Automation and Control System Training Course (PLC & HMI)" certificate from Mindstorm Engineering. Mudassar further expanded their knowledge with certifications in March 2023, including "Aruba Networking Basics" from Coursera, "Agile with Atlassian Jira and Confluence" from Atlassian, and "AWS Cloud Technical Essentials" from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Finally, in May 2023, Mudassar received certification in "Hands-on Introduction to Linux Commands and Shell Scripting" from IBM.
