Marcello Fausti

Marcello Fausti has extensive work experience in various roles related to cybersecurity, risk management, and information systems. Marcello is currently the Head of Cybersecurity at Italiaonline since March 2019. Previously, they were a member of the Advisory Board for Cybersecurity & Risk Management Program at The Innovation Group starting from January 2018. Marcello also held multiple positions at TIM, including VP Technical Security and VP HR Information Systems, where they were responsible for managing judicial systems and HR information systems respectively. Before joining TIM, Marcello worked as VP Marketing & Business Development at GFI OIS SpA, Marketing Manager at Olivetti SpA, and Project Manager & Partner at Systena SpA. Marcello is also a member of the CISO Cloud Committee at CSA Italy since November 2020.

Marcello Fausti attended Luiss Business School from 2012 to 2013, where they pursued an Executive Master in IT Governance & Management. Prior to that, they studied at the Università degli Studi di Urbino Carlo Bo from 2003 to 2005, majoring in Economia Aziendale with a focus on ICT Management for Business. Marcello also obtained several certifications including CISM® from ISACA, Auditor/LA ISO20000-1:2011 from TÜV, ITIL® from APMG Group Ltd, PMP® from PMI, and COBIT4.1® from ISACA.
