Federico Filgueira

Federico Filgueira has a extensive and diverse work experience in the finance field. Federico currently serves as the Executive Director at MAg Finanzas since January 2019. Additionally, they hold teaching roles at various prestigious institutions. Federico is a finance teacher for the Master's in Finance, MBA, and MIM programs at Universidad de San Andrés since March 2015, and also teaches in the Advanced Training Program in Risk Management and Basel III at the same institution since August 2016. Federico also worked as the Director of the Executive Finance Program for Administration at ITBA starting from January 2017. Prior to these roles, they were a finance teacher for the undergraduate program at Universidad de Buenos Aires from March 2005 to June 2018. Federico also gained valuable experience working at Santander Río, where they held multiple roles including Submanager of Capital Risk and Scenario Analysis and Stress Test, Controller Chief Staff Manager, and Trainee from 2006 to 2016. Federico started their career as an intern at BID from September 2003 to July 2004.

Federico Filgueira has a diverse education history. In 1999, they completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Buenos Aires, where they obtained a degree in Industrial Engineering. Following this, in 2008 and 2009, they pursued a Postgraduate degree in Finance at UADE. In 2013 and 2014, Federico enrolled in the University of 'San Andrés', where they completed a Master's degree in Finance.

Continuing their education, Federico undertook an Executive MBA program at the University of 'San Andrés' from 2019 to 2022, specializing in Administration and Business Management. Additionally, in 2022, they completed a Diploma in Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies at Universidad del CEMA, focusing on Finance. Finally, also in 2022, Federico participated in a program on E-Commerce Strategy at the IAE Business School.
