iteach
Erica Sheets Redgraves has a diverse work experience. Erica started their career as an Intake Recruiter at Lutheran Social Services of the South in 2014. From 2017 to 2019, they worked at AFS/IBEX, first as a Customer Service Representative and later as an Account Executive. In 2019, they joined Responsive Education Solutions as an Upper School Art Teacher, where they developed engaging curriculums for 7th to 12th-grade students and managed supply inventory. Currently, they hold the position of Program Advisor at iteach since June 2022 and is also expected to assume the role of Education Director in March 2023.
Erica Sheets Redgraves attended the University of North Texas from 2007 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a focus on Fibers. In addition to their degree, they also obtained certifications in Unconscious Bias and Coaching Skills for Leaders and Managers from LinkedIn in 2023.
iteach
iteach is a competency-based educator preparation program that combines the convenience of online learning with a full year of face-to-face mentorship from Classroom Supervisors during a teaching residency. The organization was founded in 2003 to help talented people become teachers while avoiding the high costs and time commitments of some traditional educator-preparation programs. To date, iteach has helped more than 20,000 teachers become certified. The iteach model, which includes free access to professional development resources from Teaching Channel and test prep from Passage Preparation, has been so successful at preparing great educators on a large scale that the program now offers state-approved certification programs in 11 states and counting.
