Richard Peters

Richard Peters has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Richard is currently working as the Group Finance Director at itelbpo Smart Solutions since July 2019. Prior to this, they held the position of Commercial Director/Chief Accounting Officer at Rose Hall Developments Limited from February 2015 to July 2019. Richard also served as the Site Controller at Vistaprint Jamaica Ltd from August 2010 to April 2014. Before that, they held the role of Finance Director at GTECH Jamaica Ltd from April 2005 to July 2010. Richard has also worked as the General Manager Finance & Logistics at South West Regional Health Authority from March 2003 to April 2005. Earlier in their career, they held various financial roles at Petrotrin Trinmar Ltd, Securicor Services Ltd, Rahamut Group of Companies, Dominica Electricity Services Ltd, and Lever Brothers West Indies Ltd.

Richard Peters has a diverse education history. Richard holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Finance and Financial Management Services from the Jamaica Stock Exchange E Learning Campus. Richard also has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Finance from Long Island University. Richard completed their Ordinary and Advanced Levels in Modern Studies from Presentation College in San Fernando, Trinidad, West Indies. Richard earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Business Administration and Management, General from Rutgers University - Newark. Additionally, they have a Master of Science (MSc) in Accounting from the University of the West Indies, Mona. Richard has obtained various certifications including a Certificate in Enterprise Risk Management from the Mona School of Business and Management in 2018, a Certificate Course in Forensic Accounting from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica (ICAJ) in 2016, a Certified Call Center Manager certification from Benchmark Portal's College of Call Center Excellence in 2013, and a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica in 2010.
