Maja Kurjan

Functional Architect at Itera

Maja Kurjan has a diverse work experience starting in 2010. Maja began their career as an Assistant Lecturer at the Croatian Red Cross, where they taught students with learning difficulties and organized additional classes in various subjects. In 2010, they also volunteered as a Mentor for the Student Association for the improvement of the quality of studies, advising students and acting as a mediator.

In 2015, Maja joined Europris as a Business Intelligence Developer and worked there until 2019. Their role involved developing and implementing business intelligence solutions.

From 2019 to 2023, Maja worked as an IT Consultant at IntegrasjonsPartner BITS AS. Maja specialized in automation and integrations for customers, particularly with SAP, Visma, and other ERP systems.

In 2023, Maja took on two more roles. Maja became a Hagedesigner at Tofteberg AS, focusing on landscape design. Additionally, they joined Itera as a Data Analyst.

Throughout their career, Maja has showcased their expertise in various fields, including teaching, mentoring, business intelligence, IT consulting, and data analysis.

Maja Kurjan obtained their high school diploma from IV. Gymnasium in Zagreb in the field of Language High school from 2005 to 2009. Maja then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Computing with a focus on Telecommunications and Informatics at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing in Zagreb from 2009 to 2013. Subsequently, they furthered their education and completed a Master of Science in Information and communication technology, specializing in Telecommunications and Informatics from the same institution from 2013 to 2015.

In addition to their academic achievements, Maja Kurjan has also obtained additional certifications. In December 2013, they received the MCPS (Microsoft Certified Professional) certification from Microsoft. During the same period, they also obtained the MTA (Microsoft Technology Associate) certification in Software Development Fundamentals.
