Bo Yang Yu

Bo Yang Yu is a seasoned hardware engineering manager currently leading the development of SKOUT, an FDA-cleared AI-powered polyp detection device at Iterative Health. With a robust academic background, including a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Bo has extensive experience in various roles across multiple organizations. Previous positions include staff engineer at PathAI, where Bo architected a revolutionary imaging system, and staff mechanical engineer at BD, leading cross-functional teams on innovative medical devices. Bo has also contributed to academic research as a research affiliate at MIT and has a solid foundation in mechanical and mechatronics engineering, starting with a MASc/BASc from the University of Waterloo.
