Bassel S. has a diverse work experience in the field of transportation and traffic engineering. Bassel currently holds the position of ICM & Traffic Analyst at Iteris, Inc. since September 2022. Previously, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Central Florida from January 2020 to September 2022, where they contributed to projects related to evaluating the benefits of traffic management systems and studying the impacts of distracted driving and pedestrian activities on traffic operations.

From September 2010 to June 2013, Bassel held the position of Project Engineer at Zuhair Fayez Partnership, where they provided technical support and development for studies and design administration for municipality projects in Riyadh. This involved data collection, analysis, and the design and development of corridors, bridges, and tunnels.

Bassel's career began as a Road Engineer at the General Authority for Roads & Bridges and Land Transport from January 2005 to August 2010, where they worked under the Ministry of Transportation.
