Dr. Luis Duran Cornelio

Dr. Luis Duran Cornelio is a seasoned Project Manager and consultant with extensive experience in monitoring, evaluation, and learning within international development. Currently at USAID, Dr. Cornelio manages a portfolio of over 12 cooperative agreements and has played a pivotal role in significant evaluations and budget allocations for democracy initiatives, including a notable contribution to the 2018 parliamentary elections in Afghanistan. With a background in both academia and practical consultancy, Dr. Cornelio has also held positions at the Inter-American Foundation, the United Nations Development Program, and Centro Bono, focusing on development projects across various sectors. Dr. Cornelio holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Master of Science in Data Science and is a PhD candidate in Project Analysis & Data Science, demonstrating a strong foundation in data-driven decision-making and research.
