Rod Kurtz is an experienced entrepreneur and media professional with a diverse background in various roles across multiple organizations. Since March 2015, Kurtz has served as Entrepreneur-in-Residence at UCLA Anderson School of Management and has been a Judge for the Loeb Awards. Currently, Kurtz holds the position of Editor-at-Large for American Express, overseeing Business Class since December 2018, while also serving as Senior Media Advisor for Intuit and TSheets. In addition to founding RKE in 2012, Kurtz launched It's Skinny® in September 2021 as Brand Orchestrator. Kurtz has contributed to CNNMoney.com and held editorial roles with American Express OPEN, and maintains involvement as a Board Member of The Daily Pennsylvanian Alumni Association. Furthermore, Kurtz has shared expertise as a Guest Lecturer at The Wharton School. Kurtz obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania between 1998 and 2002.
