Arun Venkatraman

Arun Venkatraman has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Arun is currently serving as the Director of Project Management at ItsaCheckmate since June 2022. Prior to that, they held leadership positions at Software Group, where they served as the Country Head from March 2018 to June 2022, and as the APAC PMO Lead from June 2017 to June 2022. Arun also worked as a Senior Project Manager at Eli India from June 2016 to May 2017, where they focused on transforming product teams to follow Agile methodology and coaching project teams on Scrum methodology.

Before that, Arun worked at Cusdelight Consultancy Services Pvt Ltd as a Project Manager and Scrum Master from May 2013 to June 2016. Arun played a key role in managing cloud technology and SAAS marketplace projects, collaborating with different teams and coaching them on Agile principles and Scrum. Prior to that, they served as a Lead-IT Services at Defiance Technologies Limited from October 2012 to May 2013.

Arun started their career as a Test Engineer at The Advisory Board Company from August 2010 to October 2012, where they were responsible for testing activities and automation. Arun also worked as a QA Engineer 2 at Stratify Software India PVT LTD from July 2007 to August 2010. In addition, Arun has experience as a PC Support Analyst at Thomson Reuters from January 2007 to July 2007 and as a Senior Technical Support Executive at Dell International Services from October 2005 to January 2007.

Arun Venkatraman completed their Bachelor's degree in Engineering in the field of Electrical & Electronics at Anna University from 2001 to 2005. In addition to their formal education, they obtained several certifications including SA from Scaled Agile, Inc. in March 2017, Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance in April 2016, and Project Management Professional from Project Management Institute in January 2016.
