Maya Richard has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries.
Starting in 2012, they began their career as an intern at Vrije Universiteit Brussel. Then, from 2012 to 2016, Maya worked as a Customer Service representative at Brillen24, where they provided support to Dutch-speaking clients and took responsibility for optimizing workflow and translating marketing newsletters.
In 2016, they joined huisvandeMens as a Communication and Social Media Marketing employee. In this role, Maya was involved in copywriting, event marketing, email marketing, social media content planning, and graphic design, among other responsibilities. Maya also played a key role in brand communication, internal communication, and stakeholder management.
In 2020, Maya moved on to become a Marketing Coordinator at Stadium NV, where they worked until early 2021. Finally, Maya is currently employed as a Content Creator at itsme Digital ID, a position they have held since February 2021.
Maya Richard completed their Bachelor's degree in Latijn-moderne talen at Koninklijk atheneum Tienen from 2002 to 2007. Maya then pursued a Master's degree in communication at Vrije Universiteit Brussel from 2007 to 2012, specializing in Media and culture. In 2019, they undertook two shorter educational programs. Firstly, they completed a Mediatraining course at Belga Persagentschap, focusing on Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs. Later in the same year, they attended Centrum voor avondonderwijs to study Sociale Media Marketing in the field of Marketing.
