Senior Lead Software Engineer at ITWorx

Mohamed Hamdy started their work experience in 2006 at ITWorx as a Software Engineer. Mohamed then moved up to the roles of Senior Software Engineer and Lead Software Engineer, working at ITWorx until 2013. In 2009, they briefly worked at Syngenta as a Software Support Representative. From 2013 to 2014, they worked at Swiss Re as a Software Technical Consultant. Finally, in 2014, they returned to ITWorx as a Senior Lead Software Engineer, where they are currently employed.

Mohamed Hamdy attended the El Nahda Experimental School from an unknown start year until 2002, where they obtained their high school degree in Math and Science. Following this, they enrolled in Cairo University from 2002 until 2006, where they earned their Bachelor's Degree in Computers & Information.

In addition to their formal education, Mohamed Hamdy has also obtained several certifications. In 2020, they became Scrum Master Certified (SMC) through the Scrum Alliance. In 2014, they received a certification in Basics of Application Security from OWASP, as well as a certification in Java Batch Programming Aspects from Swiss Re. In 2012, they completed a course on Introduction to Agile Software Development at the Software Engineering Competence Center-SECC, a certification in Coding and Code Reviews from ExpertWave, and a certification in Project Sizing from ITWORX. In 2011, they obtained a certification in Effective Interpersonal Communication from ITWORX, and in 2010, they obtained a certification in Effective Business Writing, also from ITWORX. Furthermore, in 2007, they obtained a certification in Bioinformatics from Syngenta, as well as certifications in Time and Stress Management and Building and Managing Teams from Strategic Vision, Ltd.
