Waleed El-Wakeel

Waleed El-Wakeel has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and development. Their most recent role was as a Senior Software Engineer at ITWorx starting from January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Freelance Instructor at the Information Technology Institute (ITI) from March 2021.

From April 2021 to January 2023, Waleed worked at Orange Egypt as a Senior Solutions Developer. In this role, they were responsible for contributing to team plans, providing strong technical contributions, and promoting creativity and innovation.

Before joining Orange Egypt, Waleed worked at Link Development as a Solutions Developer from July 2019 to March 2021. In this position, they were responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining web applications based on Microsoft technologies (.Net Framework) with JavaScript frameworks.

Waleed also had an internship at Link Development in May 2019, where they worked as a full-stack developer on a project involving Entity Framework, SQL Server, Asp.net Web API, and Angular. During this internship, they were involved in analyzing requirements, designing databases, and implementing tasks based on the project's needs.

Waleed El-Wakeel obtained a diploma in Information Technology from the Information Technology Institute (ITI) in 2019. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Petroleum Engineering from the Faculty of Petroleum and Mining Engineering at Suez University between 2013 and 2018. Their high school education was completed at Victoria College from 2001 to 2013.

Additionally, Waleed has obtained certifications including the McKinsey Forward Program from McKinsey & Company in December 2022, and an English training program, level 12 (Advanced) from the Arab Academy for Science and Technology and Maritime Transport in June 2011.
