Stefano Gessa

Stefano Gessa has a wealth of experience in the technology industry. Stefano began their career in 2009 as a System Administrator for Cappello di Ferro, where they designed, deployed, and maintained web, e-mail, and VoIP services. In 2010, they took on the role of System Administrator for Level iP Italia S.r.l - Capgemini Group, where they were responsible for deploying high-availability infrastructures and providing technical customer support. That same year, they also worked as a Java Developer for SAD. In 2012, they were a Backend Developer for Zotoi GbR and Co-Founder & Chief Technology Officer for ElasticDot. Stefano then worked as Founder & Chief Technology Officer for Bootando Co. Ltd from 2012 to 2015. In 2015, they became Head of Technology for Priver, and in 2017, they were Head of Blockchain Department for LWF Logistics. Most recently, in 2021, they became a Senior Backend Developer for iubenda.

Stefano Gessa obtained their High School Diploma in Computer Science from the Industrial Technical Institute of State in 2009. Stefano then attended Java Developer 2.0 - FSE, where they studied Gnu/Linux, PostgreSQL, Java, Ruby/Rails, and HTML/CSS. Stefano obtained their LPIC-1 certification from the Linux Professional Institute in June 2010, their Sun Certified Java Programmer - JSE6 (aka OCPJP6) from Sun in March 2010, and their PostgreSQL CE 8.0 Silver from PostgreSQL in November 2009.
