Dr Danielle Hyles

Dr. Danielle Hyles currently serves as an Elementary Vice Principal at the Durham Catholic District School Board, a position held since September 2012, where leadership has been highlighted through positive endorsements from parents and contributions to staff development. In addition to administrative roles, Dr. Hyles is an author with a focus on equity and leadership research, alongside children's literature, with work published by iUniverse, LLC since August 2011. Prior experience includes serving as an Elementary Vice Principal at the Toronto District School Board and as an Elementary Teacher within the Toronto Catholic District School Board, where various leadership roles and committee memberships were undertaken. Dr. Hyles holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Equity from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto, a Master of Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music Teacher Education from Howard University.
