Léa Gauthier, PhD

Data Scientist, Project Lead at Ivado Labs

Léa Gauthier, PhD, has a diverse and extensive work experience. From 2020, they have been working at IVADO Labs as a Data Scientist and Project Lead. Léa'sroles include developing and implementing AI solutions for companies across various sectors, specializing in forecasting problem and anomaly detection, and conducting research on new AI solutions for forecasting problems.

Prior to IVADO Labs, from 2016 to 2020, Léa worked at Ariann Solution and Guillemot R&D as an AI Developer. In this role, they developed algorithms and machine learning techniques for the Finance, Gaming, and Advertising sectors. Léa'sresponsibilities included leading the development of music data analysis to predict trending songs, sentiment analysis using topic modeling, and developing a new market prediction model for stock prices and fundamentals.

Léa also worked as a Researcher-Developer at Gameloft from 2015 to 2016, focusing on research and development tasks. Before that, from 2012 to 2015, Léa worked as a post-doctoral fellow at Université de Montréal, where they conducted research in their field of expertise.

Léa'searly work experience includes working as a Doctorant-Enseignant at CEA - Commissariat à l'énergie atomique et aux énergies alternatives from 2009 to 2012. In this role, they worked on a thesis on fundamental physics, focusing on the ATLAS experiment at the LHC. Léa developed a model for data mining and pattern recognition, and improved the calculation of energy reconstruction for particles. Léa also developed a new particle physics model to explain the origins of Dark Matter.

In 2008, Léa worked as a Summer Student at CERN, where they gained valuable experience in their field.

Throughout their career, Léa has published several scientific articles and has expertise in C++, Python, Root, SVN, and Jira.

Léa Gauthier, PhD, pursued their education in a chronological manner, starting with their Bachelor of Science degree in Applied and Fundamental Science. Léa received this degree from both Université Paris Sud (Paris XI) and lycée Massena in 2007. Following this, they earned a Master's degree in fundamental physics from Paris-Sud University (Paris XI) between 2007 and 2009. Lastly, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics at CEA-Saclay from 2009 to 2012.
