Fraser Patullo

Fraser Patullo has a diverse work experience in the software development industry. Fraser started their career as a PHP Developer at the Scottish Police Services Authority from December 2009 to January 2011. Following that, they worked as a Self-Employed Web Developer at Fraser Patullo Web Solutions from August 2008 to August 2012, where they collaborated with small businesses to create dynamic websites.

Fraser then joined GFI Software in January 2011 as a Software Developer, specializing in developing the GFI MAX Dashboard. Fraser continued to work at GFI Software as a Senior Software Developer from April 2013 to February 2014, where they took a lead role in developing new features and updates for the GFI MAX product.

In February 2014, Fraser moved on to become a Software Team Lead at GFI Software, where they led a small team of software developers, coordinated their efforts, ensured code quality, and provided technical challenges to develop their skills.

Fraser's next position was at SolarWinds MSP, where they joined as a Software Development Manager in February 2015. Fraser introduced code review processes, mentored colleagues on release strategies, and unified estimates to improve planning efficiency. In June 2016, Fraser was promoted to Senior Development Manager, responsible for managing three team managers, overseeing major initiatives, restructuring teams, recruiting staff, and defining product vision.

From April 2018 to April 2021, Fraser worked as the Director of Engineering at Cherwell Software. Reporting to the VP of Engineering, they led engineering teams in the UK and focused on team building and supporting the engineers.

Currently, Fraser is working as the Senior Director of DevOps at Ivanti. Fraser heads up multiple software engineering teams based in Scotland, USA, and India. Fraser is responsible for the development and release of software to customers within the Service Management vertical.

Fraser Patullo attended Abertay University from 2005 to 2009. Fraser obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computing (Hons), specializing in Software Development and Internet Development.
