Yoshinari Tanaka has extensive work experience in various roles related to localization engineering, project management, and software engineering. Yoshinari started their career in 1997 as an IT support specialist at MSP, where they managed and maintained the office's PC and network environment. Yoshinari then worked at You-Net as an Assistant Manager in the System Planning & Development Department, where they completed development and QA testing for various programs using Visual Basic and Oracle.
In 2000, Tanaka joined GXS GE Dublin as an Internationalization & Localization Technical Support Engineer, leading the I18n and l10n project for the B2B e-purchasing solution, Purchasing Expert. Yoshinari also organized and managed product demonstrations in Japan and Florida.

Yoshinari then joined Ivanti in 2017 as a Manager of Engineering, overseeing day-to-day operations and implementing quality assurance processes. Tanaka was later promoted to Senior Engineering Project Manager, where they focused on project management, budgeting, and vendor relationship management. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Software Engineering at Ivanti, where they oversee localization and technical communications projects, collaborates with other teams and leaders, and drives talent development.
Yoshinari Tanaka obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Nihon University, where they studied from 1992 to 1996. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications from LinkedIn in various fields, such as data analytics, project management, agile development practices, and financial analysis. The certifications were obtained in 2023, with the most recent one being obtained in July 2023.
