Steven Ormes has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Steven began their career as an IT Support Specialist at Georgia-Cumberland Academy in 2009, where they provided support for a network of 300+ laptops and desktops, set up network infrastructure, and assisted students and faculty with computing problems. After their time at the academy, they worked as a Waiter at Olive Garden for a few months before transitioning back to the IT field. Steven then worked as an IT Support Specialist at Tweaks By Geeks before joining Hargray Communications in 2015. At Hargray Communications, they held the position of Information Technology Support Specialist until 2018. Most recently, Steven Ormes worked as an IT Support Specialist at iVenture Solutions, where they are still employed.

Steven Ormes completed their Bachelor's degree in Network and System Administration/Administrator from Western Governors University between 2016 and 2020. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Applied Science degree in Computer Networking and Service Technology from Dalton State College between 2011 and 2015.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Steven Ormes has obtained several certifications. In July 2017, they received the Project+ certification from CompTIA. In June 2018, they obtained the A+, Network+, and Security+ certifications, also from CompTIA.
