Hersh Patel

Hersh Patel has a diverse work experience in the medical and healthcare field. Hersh is currently the Medical Director of Clinical Development at Iveric Bio since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Medical Director of Clinical Development at Adverum Biotechnologies, Inc. from January 2021 to September 2021. Before that, they held various roles at Novartis including Associate Medical Director from August 2019 to January 2021, Associate Director of Medical Science Liaison from April 2019 to August 2019, and Medical Science Liaison from January 2018 to May 2019. Hersh also served as a Senior Managing Partner at GS Eye Group from May 2014 to January 2018. Additionally, they worked as a Consultant at Dynamic Solution Consultants, LLC from January 2015 to August 2017, and as a Managing Physician at USM-Corp from February 2013 to May 2014. Hersh started their career as a Managing Physician at The Eye Health Group from June 2011 to July 2013, and as a Rotating Physician at Omni Eye Services from 2010 to 2011.

Hersh Patel has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biological Sciences from Rutgers University, which they obtained from 2002 to 2006. Hersh then pursued further education at Salus University, where they earned a Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from 2007 to 2011, as well as a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), Honors degree in Visual Sciences from 2007 to 2010. Later, Hersh completed a Master's degree in Business Administration (HealthCare Marketing Focus) from Centenary University, which they obtained from 2016 to 2018. Hersh also holds a certification from the American Academy Of Optometry as a Fellow of the American Academy Of Optometry (F.A.A.O.), which they achieved in 2018.
