Sameer Attharkar

Sameer Attharkar has over 15 years of experience in the field of data and analytics, with a focus on the life sciences industry. Sameer is currently the Director of Commercial Data and Analytics at Iveric Bio since February 2023. Previously, Sameer worked at Bausch + Lomb as a Senior Manager of Commercial Operations, Insight & Analytics from January 2022 to March 2023. Sameer also held the position of Senior Manager of Commercial Insights & Analytics at Bausch Health Companies Inc. from December 2018 to December 2021, where they played a key role in launching a cloud-native AWS based commercial data platform. Before that, Sameer worked at Knowledgent as a Solutions Partner, providing expertise in commercial analytics strategy and innovation, CRM, and operationalizing analytics investments in the life sciences industry. Sameer also has experience as a Senior Consultant at IQVIA, where they led analytics engagements and provided strategic analysis to clients. Prior to that, Sameer worked at Slalom Consulting as a Management Consultant, leading engagements in mobile product development, information strategy, and analytics for life sciences clients. Sameer also worked at Cognizant Technology Solutions as a Manager Senior Consultant, focusing on brand performance analytics and developing mobile strategies for life sciences clients. Sameer began their career at Tata Consultancy Services as a Senior Software Developer, leading software development for web portal integration projects.

Sameer Attharkar holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering from Pune Institute of Computer Technology, which they completed from 1999 to 2003. Sameer later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Information Technology Management from S P Jain School of Global Management, completing it in 2007. Moreover, Sameer attended Rutgers University in 2015 to study User Experience Design. Sameer has also obtained additional certifications, including Customer Analytics from Wharton Online and Certified ScrumMaster from Scrum Alliance in October 2015.
