Nicholas Shalagan

Nicholas Shalagan is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in recruitment and admissions within higher education. Currently serving as the Associate Director of Master's Programs at Ivey Business School, Western University since January 2020, Nicholas focuses on building relationships with prospective students to attract high-quality candidates for the Ivey Accelerated MBA program. Prior roles include Recruitment Officer in the Dean’s Office at Western University, where efforts centered on graduate student recruitment, and Manager of Co-op and Career Services at Hanson Canada, which involved supporting international students. Earlier experience includes significant positions with International Studies Abroad, VSO, Cuso International, Katimavik, and Pier 1 Imports, encompassing leadership in community development, marketing, outreach, and training initiatives. Nicholas holds an MSc in Education from Canisius University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Glendon Campus of York University.
