Dr. Christine Knörzer

Dr. Christine Knörzer has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Dr. Christine currently serves as the Teamleiterin Public Transport - Operations at IVU Traffic Technologies since February 2020. Prior to this, they worked at TWT GmbH, where they held multiple positions including Business Unit Manager from January 2018 to January 2020, Senior Research Manager from March 2016 to December 2017, and Research Manager from August 2013 to February 2016. Dr. Knörzer also worked as a Research Scientist at the Max Planck Institute for Meteorology from 2009 to 2013.

Dr. Christine Knörzer completed their education in the field of Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology. Dr. Christine began their academic journey in 2004 at The University of Bonn, where they earned their Diplom degree in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology in 2009. In 2007, they briefly studied at The University Centre in Svalbard. Dr. Christine then pursued further education at the International Max Planck Research School on Earth System Modelling (IMPRS-ESM) from 2009 to 2013, obtaining their PhD in Climate Modelling. In 2008, they also attended the University of Bergen (UiB), specializing in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology.
