Dr. Nico Hamacher

Dr. Nico Hamacher has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Dr. Nico began their career in 1991 at Fosbel Europe, where they worked in customer care until 1996. From 1994 to 2000, they worked in marketing and sales at Radtke - Verlag für Büchersammler. In 2000, they joined RWTH Aachen, Lehrstuhl für technische Informatik as a scientific employee until 2006.

In 2006, Dr. Hamacher joined IVU Traffic Technologies, where they held multiple positions over the years. Dr. Nico started as a software engineer and later became a sales manager from 2007 to 2008. From 2008 to 2009, they worked as a project manager, and from 2010 to 2012, they served as the head of a department. From 2013 to 2020, they held the position of head of bid management and presales engineering. Currently, they hold the role of senior sales manager, key account manager, and Geschäftsentwicklung Rail at IVU Traffic Technologies since April 2020.

Dr. Nico Hamacher completed their education at RWTH Aachen University. Dr. Nico obtained a Diplom degree in Informatik, having studied from 1992 to 2000. Later, they pursued a further degree, earning a Dr. rer.-nat in Informatik from the same university during the period of 2000 to 2006.
